APPLAUS Award 2026<\/h2>\n\n<\/div><\/div>\n\n

The APPLAUS Award is presented in six categories, with prize money of up to \u20ac40,000. A total of around \u20ac1.6 million in prize money will be awarded in 2026. In the categories \u201cBeste Livemusikprogramme,\u201d \u201cBeste Livemusikspielst\u00e4tten\u201d and \u201cBeste kleine Spielst\u00e4tten und Konzertreihen,\u201d multiple winners are selected. In addition, one non-monetary main prize is awarded per category. Awards are also presented in the categories \u201cAwareness,\u201d \u201cInklusion,\u201d and \u201cNachhaltigkeit.\u201d <\/div>\n\n<\/div><\/div>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>

In addition to program quality, the evaluation includes outstanding production and performance conditions, commitment to marginalized groups (e.g. FLINTA*, people affected by racism and\/or antisemitism, and people with disabilities), as well as efforts toward ecological sustainability. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

The awards are endowed with prize money of up to \u20ac25,000 each.<\/p>\n\n<\/div>\n\n

A self-reflective and survivor-centered approach to responsibility in dealing with incidents of discrimination or (sexualized) violence is also essential. <\/p>\n\n\n\n
